Wholesale Snack Food Distributor

Bobby’s Foods delivers its products throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Over 18,000 retailers stock Bobby’s snacks including a wide variety of Crisps, Nuts, Sweets and Cakes. The retailers are served by a national network of strategically located depots, each with their own fleet of sales vans enabling twice monthly visits to each and every retailer.

After a comprehensive overhaul of their van sales IT systems, Environmental Computer Recycling collected over 70 dot matrix vehicle printers which had become surplus to requirements after the upgrade.

These printers have now been refurbished for re-use in the 2nd user market place at an affordable cost to the consumer. Refurbishing these printers for re-use has avoided over 350kg of IT related equipment ending up as landfill.

Bobby’s Foods were more than happy with the comprehensive IT Recycling service they received. Friendly, fast and efficient, Bobby’s could not be happier with Environmental Computer Recycling, safe in the knowledge that with their help further WEEE landfill issues can be avoided.
Education

The NGA is the only independent body representing school governors in England. There are over 300,000 governors, which is the largest volunteer group in the UK.

They are an independent charity that aims to improve the well-being of children and young people by promoting high standards in all our schools, and improving the effectiveness of their governing bodies.

The association supports both local authority maintained schools, and academies.

Environmental Computer Recycling were contacted by the NGA to collect a number of IT related products, and also to data destroy some of their computer hard drives.

The service included full certification which was processed within a short period of time following the collection of the items.
Venue Management

The NEC Group is a British company that owns and operates four venues in Birmingham: The National Exhibition Centre, from which it gets its name, but also The International Convention Centre, the LG Arena (based on The NEC site) and The National Indoor Arena. The company also operates Amadeus - an external catering division, which provides services to prestigious events such as the Loch Lomond golf tournament.

We operate a continuous refresh of our IT equipment over a three year cycle and Environmental Computer Recycling have collected 100s of PCs for recycling or refurbishing.

Many computer monitors and printers have been collected and disposed of in accordance to WEEE regulations thus avoiding landfill.

Environmental Computer Recycling have therefore helped the NEC Group achieve its goal of “NIL TO LANDFILL”.
